Fishing Rules at Amenity Estate in Márinky
Fishing at Amenity Estate in Márinky is available exclusively to guests staying at the property. A fishing permit is included in the price of accommodation. Before fishing, we kindly ask all guests to familiarise themselves with these rules and to follow the principles of careful handling of fish, considerate behaviour within the grounds and protection of the local environment.
Fishing permit
A fishing permit is included in the price of accommodation.
Fishing licence
Fishing takes place within a privately managed fishpond system, therefore a state fishing licence is not required.
Number of fishing rods
Fishing is permitted exclusively with a fishing rod. Each angler may use a maximum of two rods at the same time.
Designated fishing ponds
Fishing is permitted only in the upper, largest pond with the floating house and in the pond with the peninsula. The other ponds are used for fish farming or swimming, and fishing is prohibited there.
Permitted fishing methods
Permitted fishing methods are bottom fishing and float fishing. Spinning and fishing with live or dead baitfish are prohibited. Anglers must remain close to their rods or use bite alarms with a receiver.
Catch-and-release policy
Fishing is permitted on a catch-and-release basis only.
Mandatory equipment
Anglers must have a landing net, hook remover and unhooking mat with them. We recommend using fish-safe antiseptic when removing hooks.
Returning fish to the water
All fish must be returned to the water immediately and with care. Throwing fish into the water from a height is prohibited.
Photographing and measuring fish
Fish may only be photographed and measured on a wet unhooking mat or directly in the water.
Feeding and baiting
Feeding and baiting are permitted. Uncooked particle baits, particularly maize and peas, are prohibited.
All visitors are required to keep the area clean and tidy, avoid disturbing other guests and leave their fishing spot and the surrounding area completely clean after fishing.
You are on the grounds of a private estate. Please take extra care when moving around the property, as you do so at your own risk. Animals belonging to guests may move freely within the grounds. Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused by their animals.
Do not leave fishing rods or bait unattended.
Any damage to the local flora and fauna is strictly prohibited. Guests may only enter designated areas intended for recreation and fishing.
