BASIC FISHING RULES

Fishing permit

Fishing is permitted only after purchasing the relevant permit. The permit must be purchased during the booking process.

Permit per person

Each angler must have a valid permit. Estate staff are authorised to check permits. Anglers are required to present a valid permit upon request.

Fishing licence

Fishing is operated under a pond management regime, so a state fishing licence is not required.

Number of rods

Fishing is permitted exclusively with a rod. Each angler may fish with a maximum of two rods at the same time.

Permitted ponds

Fishing is permitted only in the upper, largest pond with the floating house and in the pond with the peninsula. The other ponds are breeding or swimming ponds and fishing in them is prohibited.

FISHING METHODS AND FISH HANDLING

Permitted fishing methods

The permitted fishing methods are ledgering and float fishing. Spinning and fishing with live or dead bait fish are prohibited. The angler must be present at the rods or use remote bite alarms.

Fishing regime

Only catch-and-release fishing is permitted.

Mandatory equipment

Anglers must have a landing net, hook remover and unhooking mat with them. We recommend using disinfectant when removing the hook.

Returning fish to the water

The catch must be returned to the water immediately and gently. Throwing fish into the water from a height is prohibited.

Photographing and measuring fish

Photographing and measuring fish is permitted only on a wet unhooking mat or directly in the water.

Feeding

Feeding is permitted. Feeding with uncooked particles, especially maize and peas, is prohibited.

Rules of Conduct on the Estate

Every visitor is required to keep the area tidy, not disturb others with their behaviour and, after finishing fishing, leave the fishing spot and its surroundings completely clean.

You are on the estate grounds. Please take extra care when moving around the estate; you do so at your own risk. Animals belonging to accommodated guests may move freely around the estate. Accommodated guests are fully responsible for any damage caused by their animals.

Do not leave fishing rods or bait unattended.

It is prohibited to damage the local flora and fauna in any way. Movement is permitted only in designated areas for recreation and fishing.
